The Egyptian lost both his hands in an accident when he was 10 years old but has not let that prevent him from playing his favourite sport.

In a video by the International Table Tennis Federation, Hamato explains how three years after the accident he wanted to play again, holding the racket in his armpit but it didn’t work.
After trying different options, Hamato found himself playing table tennis by holding the bat in his mouth.

He said his biggest achievements in life so far are divided into two parts, “my wife who is everything to me”, and table tennis.
“I hope this shows people nothing is impossible as long as you work hard,” he added.
Hamato took on some of the best players in the world as an honorary guest at the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
