ABC’s 2014–2015 schedule includes dramas from Shonda Rhimes, 12 Years A Slave’s John Ridley, Gossip Girl ‘s Josh Schwartz, and more.
ABC is once again betting heavily on dramas next season, adding six new hour-long series to the network's schedule, including projects from Shonda Rhimes, Steven Spielberg, and Josh Schwartz, among others. They join returning shows Castle, The Goldbergs, Grey's Anatomy, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Middle, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, Revenge, and Scandal, which all received renewals from ABC.
Despite the issues with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the network is betting on Marvel again, ordering Agent Carter, which centers on the Captain America character and is set in the 1940s.
The broadcast networks officially present their 2014-2015 schedules to advertisers beginning May 12.
